I'll be sharing information about my historical fiction series, The Atchison County Chronicles, in this blog. I plan to post about the inspiration for each book whether it be a newspaper article or a family story passed down through generations. I'll discuss the locations I've selected for the settings - communities that no longer exist or are on the verge of disappearing. I'll share recipes from the late 1890s that find their way into my novels, cemetery histories and biographies.
